This was an artificial tree made of discarded plastic and paper, brought to life by electronics and neighbor interactions. Grow invited viewers to write an intention, a hope, wish, something they enjoy, on a painted leaf in response to the question: What do you want to see grow this season? The leaves were then tucked into translucent waterproof leaf holders on the tree, slowly causing the tree to come alive with flourishes of color. The tree responded to neighbors with lights and soft whispers as they interacted.
